What's the difference between DAILY and MONTHLY processing?
Hidden fees to watch out for and avoid.
What to look for in the processor agreement fine print.
Are free terminal deals REALLY a good deal?
Step-by-step ecommerce credit card processing guide.
Where to get processing equipment and supplies at the lowest prices.
Canadian credit card processing guide.
Check guarantee and ecommerce check guide
Processing credit cards with Quickbooks
Paypal guide
FAQ's and Glossary

I must be getting old (60 this Friday). I forgot to provide the URL for the above new merchant service website announcement.

It is: www.merchantservices-help.com

Sorry. Thanks.

Wow, great site. This actually looks unbiased. I currently don't accept credit cards but have been asked by many of my residential clients if they could set up automatic credit card billing. I may look into this as well as BofA since they have my checking accounts and business credit card already.

Thanks for the kind reply, LT. We too have our accounts, including business checking and plastic as well as personal checking etc with B of A. They're are great tu us. That said, however (and I know this sounds terribly self-serving,but believe me it isn't) going to your local bank is rarely your best alternative for credit card processing services. Your credit card funds may be deposited into ANY bank account you choose regardless of who does your processing...there is NO correlation between the two.

For a merchant account with recurring payment capability with is considered a specialized application, you can go directly to the processor and bypass the middleman (and thereby reduce your costs) for excellent software, mobile, and virtual processing applications with recurring payment capability. Many of these solutions are pointed out on our site under the Quickbooks and Equipment sections.

Recurring automatic check payment also sounds like a good fit for your business, particularly since this service is much less costly than non face-to-face credit card transactios. Look in the Check Serrices section for detaiils.

Good luck and thanks again for the comment.
