Need financing for a film that has distribution!

Our company has secured a film slate distribution deal with a domestic distributor. The agreements covers domestic theatrical, DVD, cable, etc. We have the option of pre-selling the worldwide rights ourselves or utilizing their partners.

We are seeking $4MM fir the production of the first film on the slate. The film's genre is comedy and is catered towards the same demographic as the recent film "Housebunny" starring Anna Farris. The film has grossed $30MM to this point.

We have a 2-page overview of our business plan.

How long have you been in the film industry? do you have any Capital now.

I think i have the answer your seeking and if i'm correct you can get say 2 million and do some bridge cap financing by selling the foreign rights all i ask is that you concider using some of my artist music in the film God Bless and continued success towards your goal of getting the film produced.

If I understand your response correctly, you have a private equity source and you're looking to get exposure for your artist? If that's the case, I am interested in hearing more of this proposition.

The producers that secured the distribution have over 20 years experience in the industry and have produced some films. What we're looking for is $4MM to produce a film that has guaranteed backend distribution (theatrical, DVD, cable, etc.). We want to shoot in Georgia and take advantage of the tax credit incentive offered by their state. This would offset some of the risk for the investor.
