first, do you need a prototype to complete a business plan and second where are capable protoype companies in the u.s.a.- this is the final leg in bringing my idea life

Not necessarily. There are companies that specialize in working with small inventors. Using a search engine you can locate them easily. Be sure to have some legal advice on the contract(s).

Prototype or "go by" business plans are available for almost all types of business at the Small
Business Administration website. Use the link below.

There is no reason to "recreate the wheel" if you don't need to.

I would use Ask or Clusty first as you can narrow the search cluster by prototype design or product name
