Need help with a used Car Dealership start up.

Hey I have Worked as a car salesman and been around car sales for ten Years. I want to start a Buy Here Pay Here car dealer ship and need so help with the start up Cost. The End of the year is Coming soon and Tax time Next year will be a good profit in the Used Car Business. I am looking to start in the Shelby, NC area there is Not a lot of Buy here Pay here Lots. There is Money to be Made in this Business I am looking for a Investor for around 200,000 to be paid back with in 6 years. and as the Investor you will get 50% of all profits for life.

Dewayne, I love your idea to start your own used car business. I have know some great used dearlerships, but I think you will have to overcome a lot of sterotypes about used car salesmen.

Also, you can't promise every investor 50% of the profits for life. You'll run out of halves really fast. I would suggest writing out a clear investment plan, speak to a lawyer about how best to handle the agreement and don't oversell yourself to investors. 50% of the profit is a big deal! You will need to pay yourself with the leftover profit and use the rest for continued operations.

Questions: How soon do you plan on starting this car dealership??
Have you prepared a Cash Flow (projecting Income and Expenses)
Have you developed a Business and Marketing Plan I can read??

How do you know (without a Plan) that you need $200 K, That you can pay
it back in 6 years and still make a PROFIT??
