There is a lot of information on the internet. Most websites charge a lot of money for this info. Creative Fusion is a good one. The cost is do-able and you get a mentor as well to help you through the process. Be prepared to do a lot of work...getting through the grant maze can be very frustrating as well as time consuming.

I think there are grants out there targeted towards specific industries and under represented groups. Grants can also be sponsored by the government, non-profits, as well as private industries. There is usually an application process and waiting period. My hunch would be - get on with the research ASAP. Good luck! I know this sounds odd - but you may want to ask your local Librarian or City for any resource suggestions. There's a tendency to just google stuff - but why not check with your local library. As most grant programs have been in operation for many years.

If you are in the United States of America the quick and easy path is the Government's page for grants.

Several Libraries carry a CD on list of Government grants. If your local library does not, you may be able to borrow one from the library network. Talk to your Library assistant.
