Re: Is anyone looking for working capital? Sep 9, 2008 9:41 AM
I am looking for a loan to carry my business through the initial 6 months of ramp up time necessary for our recent book to get properly distributed and for its associated web sites to be properly promoted. Our overhead is low and the monthly needs are approx $7000. A loan of $42,000 would guarntee a smooth operation of our business during that period of time. A three year term would work well, however a quicker payback would be possible if this were necessary.
My company, Designing Online, Inc., dba Alternative Power Choices, a Pennsylvania S Corp, had previously and very successfully persued a home and garden audience, but our focus shifted to energy efficiency. We sold all home and garden related web sites a year ago and have invested all proceeds into developing the green energy division of our business.
We have three primary web sites that tie together to provide information, shopping and advanced market choices.
In the mix of these web sites is a 150 page energy efficiency book we have written that is very helpful in explaining the best energy choices to make. The book also provides references to the resources that can help our readers follow through on our ideas.
Our web sites support this new book and in turn, the book supports the web sites. POD (Print On Demand) publishing has been paid for through iUniverse and we are in the last legs of obtaining photo use rights and proof reading.
The web sites already exist and the books estimated publishing release date is mid November. We have performed all the work and already paid for everything. We just need working capital to help us stand on our feet better from November through April, while we grow.
The web sites are:

Interested businesses or individuals may reply and we will provide more specific details directly to you.
Thank-you,
