I have a question that doesn't have anything to do with money. If there is anybody in this forum that still gives business advice please help. I would like to know what the process is to start a collection agency. I am not interested in buying debt. It would be medical collections so the majority of debt would come from Doctors with delinquent accounts. Is there a web site anyone can refer me to? or maybe just some online advice. Thank you

A question that doesn't have anything to do w/money.

Almost everything in life has to do with MONEY.

Do you know about SCORE?? SCORE is FREE and can give you all
the business advice you need to start a collection agency.

they can also help you develop a Business Plan

As I recall, someone was pitching an MLM that does this just a few weeks ago . . . stand by, I'm sure they'll post a reply if that's the case.

In the meantime, here's one reference (I haven't looked at it, and don't have any connection to the publisher -- it just seems like a starting point in the absence of anything else specific):

That's not a business or area that I am familiar with but I found this online by from a quick search for: How do I start a medical collections agency?

http://www.michelledunn.com. It looks like she offers a book on how to start a collection business. I do not know her or how good/effective her book is and am not affiliated with her but I'll paste for you this from her site:

My "Collecting Money Series" can teach you how to make more money, have a good paying customer base, and make more sales.

Perhaps that book would be of help to you.
