I have a blog at www.prosperunlimited.blogspot.com. I kind of have an idea of what rss feeds are all about. But I want to set up a form through HTML code so that subscribers can get email notifications everytime I post a new blog.

Is there a site where I can build a newsletter and get a code to post on my blog?

Hi kevinferere,

By the way, nice looking blog. I'm not certain about what you're asking, but here's my take.

I think what you want, correct me if I'm wrong, is for your readers to be notified of your new posts and comments on your blog? If so, your blog already has this, but it's not email based. Your RSS feed automatically syndicates (or feeds over the web) any new posts to your subscribers. Your feed is under "Subscribe to Life" at the top of your site. Your readers just need to pick either "Posts" or "All Comments", choose which RSS reader they like and then click that link. Once they're subscribed, they automatically get anything new you post within minutes or seconds. No email required. Again, if you knew this already, I apologize. Just wanted to clarify.

If you want to do an e-newsletter, I suggest ConstantContact.com. They're a little more $ than some others but well worth it - $15 per month under 500 email addresses. Its super easy to do and you can link your newsletters to your blog and put a "Subscribe to my newsletter" link on your blog too. You can even archive your newsletters in html onto your website.

Hope that helps.

I know about rss feeds, but I really don't want to have to pay for an e-newsletter.

John's pretty much on the money. Sounds like you need to play around with it a bit. I might think you are referring to e-mail html formatted blog posts in which case the blog you're using may have available. My blog is on microsoft's spaces.live and they have an enhanced writer available.

well, you can do it both ways, if you want to communicate with your readers using enewsletters then I suggest trying out constant contact but since you have a blog (blogspot) I would recommend using RSS feeds-you already have this function that comes with your blog, it is called sitefeed.

I hope this helps!

Hello kevinferere,

You Mentioned "I have a blog at www.prosperunlimited.blogspot.com. I kind of have an idea of what rss feeds are all about. But I want to set up a form through HTML code so that subscribers can get email notifications everytime I post a new blog."

Well that depends on your web hosting plan.

I would suggest getting your own domain and hosting... you can easily install wordpress and add a plugin that does the exact thing you want it to do. Having your own domain and hosting isn't nearly as scary (or expensive) as it seems. I would be glad to point you in the right direction and support your efforts if you wanna take the plunge :)
