I wanted to see if you and I could have fun with this task. I'm looking for some new products to sell on my eCommerce website and want to give you the requirements and see how many ideas you can come up with. Here are the requirements for the new product(s).

1.) I want a product that I can sell to other businesses (B2B).
2.) I want a product that is consumable, meaning that the customer needs a constant supply of it. (repeat business)
3.) Must be dropship friendly.
4.) Must be appropriate for a business.
5.) Has to be something that is used on a regular basis.

Those are the requirements. To make things interesting I have already eliminated (computers, ink / toner cartridges, pens, paper, phones, calculators, and coffee). If someone comes up with a terrific idea I will let everyone know. Thanks for your help.

B2B...I think most of the people here are entrepreneurs looking for opportunities, not giving them. I would only presume that most of the folks here are looking to do the same thing you are hence, the lack of brainstorming effort.

Hi b2btech,

I took a look at your website and you provide weighing solutions correct? How about expanding to packaging and shipping materials, i.e. boxes and envelopes of various sizes, packaging tape, postage machines, foam, packaging peanuts, bubble wrap...

best of luck and let us know how things turn out

caffeinated,

Thanks for your positive response. That's actually a good idea. Apparently some people have a problem with me asking for input for selecting new products. I know that we are all entrepreneurs but just wanted to see what would happen.

No problem happy to help! Do you market your product to specific industries? Dieting is always a hot topic. Maybe try getting your weighing solutions into retail locations like GNC, any gym and those protein smoothie joints I see popping up everywhere?

I have to admit that I agree with most of the responses so far. I have spent many a sleepless nights trying to come up with the next Kaboom, however if you don't do it yourself then how would you feel reaping the rewards of someone elses idea. Just some food for thought, not trying to criticize anyone here, I believe we could all use a little help. I am loaded with information, but not ideas. If you really want to brainstorm, then please visit my website and drop me an email and I will gladly give advise and any help I can.

Thanks,
DW
