Store Policies

I'm opening a new store and would like to find information on how to write store policies. i'm using a drop ship method and wondering if i should used the same policies and refund info as my provider.

Been there, done that. If you're drop shipping you pretty much have no choice but to mirror your providers policies. This is not necessarily a problem, at least that part of the work is already done!

Beyond that (and what's already been pointed out), my suggestion is to think like an on-line shopper (not just a business owner) when you draft your policies. I see a lot of new on-line stores these days where the policies are either so vague or so "unfriendly" that they cause customers who are genuinely interested in making a purchase to bail out and shop elsewhere. As a new enterprise, you have no reputation -- so to get customers and start building a good rep, your initial policies can't scare or drive them away. You need to inspire trust and give the buyer confidence that if there's a problem, it will be resolved.
