"Source words" are also known as "anchor text." Anchor text is the visible, clickable hyperlink.
I word about article submission: Many sites don't allow clickable links, and if they do, sometimes they add a "no follow" to the link. A "no follow" in a link tells the search engine not to follow the link. This means you will get either limited or no benefit from the link. So choose your article partners wisely that only allow live links and do not use the "no follow". You can see this by right clicking your mouse on a article page and View Source. look for "no follow" in the link that points to the author's site.
A word about keyword research: In optimization, the most important step is keyword research. I did a quick check on several keyword tools, and "growth marketing" has very limited exposure in the number of searches. I always recommend to clients that any optimization company can get you to the top of search engines for uncommon searches, but I recommend going after highly searched, high traffic keywords that are relevant to their business. Of course, we are researching keywords that will convert traffic into customers, not just for traffic improvement alone.
A note to TACTICAL: Yes, you are on page two for that search, but your Title tag does not show your keywords!
Your current title tag is: Tactical Execution - HOME
Change your Title tag to be a total of 66 characters including spaces. By doing this, Google displays the first 66 characters, and you improve your chances of someone clicking on your website with a better description of what you do.
If you are targeting Growth Marketing, put those two keywords at the beginning of your Title tag.
Here's a sample of a new Title: Growth Marketing Strategies for Small Business from Tactical

Three and four word searches are known as "long tail" searches. There may not be many searches, but they are highly targeted, more relevant, and have a higher chance of converting to a customer. More on this later...
Hope this helps.
