Hello All,

I was wondering if anyone has any information or can direct me in the process of starting a loan business. I know there must be some regulatory requirements and a formal process for doing so. I would initially want to focus on collateralized commercial loans maybe up to 500,000, and depending on the process could provide other types as well. Please advise.

You might want to consider becoming a "franchise" location of an established firm or a "branch" location that you own, Several firms have this type of arrangement and it would help you on your learning curve tremendously; regulatory, marketing material, website, legal forms, etc.

Seach the web for such outfits.
