LLC Tax Liability in California

when creating a LLC in California, for any given year the corporation doesnt perform any business, is it still subject to the tax liability of the 800.00 annually?

Although an LLC with a single member can be "disregarded" for most tax purposes, it still has to pay the $800 annual tax and LLC annual fee. So, as Luckiest indicated, the answer is yes.
