Jamaica is an under develop Island with vast opportunity for investments, it is realitive close to the USA and have a pretty stable government

Yes. But too much development will destroy the charm. I think there are opportunities but one of those who visits regularly, I don't want to see it over developed.

I am not talking about over developing we need to industries so our people can improve their standard of living , their are several industries that can be develop that will have minium effect on envorinment (1) Finance (2) call center (3) farming etc. would be willing to invest in one of these industry and get a good return on your money.

I agree that they will improve the standard of living but look at what "big" farming has done here is the states, where we are supposed to be heavily regulated. It has destroyed the habitat, certain farms produce massive amounts of waste (poultry and swine), others require large amounts of land. Now, the flip side of farming is if you were to invest in the growing organic movement, Jamaica is the perfect place to lead the organic surge while doing the least amount of damage. Look at success of the organic Blue Mountain coffee company.

I think Jamaica is like other parts of the world that are overlooked. It has more potential than risk. Good luck.
