Community members and guests,

We are conducting a survey to collect feedback that will be used to make improvements and enhancements, making the Small Business Online Community better for all users. As our way of saying "Thank You," if you qualify for and complete the entire survey you will be mailed a Small Business Online Community business card holder and entered into a drawing to win a $500 Amazon.com gift certificate. This survey is easy to complete and should take approximately 10 minutes of your time. Simply copy and paste the link below into your browser and follow the instructions on the screen.

Hello SBOCTeam,

I did this survey, but I will add one more thing. The goal of BoA forum is to make easy connection betwenn members and eventually do business.

I thought a member businesses directory would be an asset. As you know it is not practical to find services or products from members, because each time you must click on the profile to get the member website. As you forum is growing pretty fast and start to be sucessful, it is impossible to clik on all profile members to get the right services or products.

A directory will help a lot to find quickly what is needed per category, and to avoid spaming you can set 100 points before a member is allowed to list his business.

That's just an idea.

Thank you

I second this suggestion. I have also filled out the survey.

I still think it would be great to have an Instant Messaging feature where members can talk in real time.

I took the survey as well, but a little direct feedback would be more guys experts. I think the event last week or two weeks ago was great. You have a "real" expert on the site that knows what he or she is talking about answering questions. Now for the most part we have great users who give great opinions like Lighthouse, Luckiest, Domain Diva, Iwrite, etc., but some of the users don't always give the greatest advice

Just took the survey - Lighthouse, I think we get blocked after we take it - really agree that the more the site could feature expert access, the better. Even making it so that people qualified as experts somehow in their profiles. Also, love the idea of a directory that is searchable and also social networking features

Hello. I totally agree with NatOnline - - it would be great if SBOC had some kind of member-only shopping or services directory, like a special yellow pages but just for us!!! We are all hidden behind screen names and profiles and it's hard to tell who is offering or selling what, if anything. I think the reason we join SBOC is for advise and to network but we also want to share who we are and what we do and can offer. I believe we would benefit from it and I am one that personally likes to support people I know and value. A claim could be made that SBOC is not responsible for any personal transactions. There could be some basic requirements that you have to provide basic information. For example:

Jewelry - Kenneth Fron aka designer - www.kennethfron.com

or

Accountant - John Smith aka workthenumbers - JohnSmithtaxwork.com

etc.
