There are many options available to you. Do you have a website? If so, there are many opportunities such as Pay Per Click advertising (paid advertising on Google for example which allows you to advertise locally) and regular search engine optimization. Another really good community I'm a part of is http://www.merchantcircle.com. I would also consider joining your local chamber of commerce(s) as they have some great networking opportunities and most of these chambers actively promote their members through online and offline measures.

First you need to be prepared, have your materials ready, BC, brochure, website, etc. The best way to market your business is to network with others who might need your services. Even if they don't need it today they will sometimes in the future or they might tell their friends about your. Pass as many business cards as possible. Put your BC at local stores in your area since this is a convenient way for people to reach you. People like to do business with others in their proximity. Network, network, network.

Start a blog about flowers. Blogs are a great way to attract attention to your business. Perhaps feature a picture of a bouquet for each submission.

If you are on Facebook, you might consider starting a Flowers group and inviting your friends/customers and encouraging them (perhaps with a free gift or discount) to add others how might be interested.
