I just joined SBOC, but I've been a member on LinkedIn for about 2 years now. It's a great way to make connections with former colleagues and make new connections. It is also a good way to give your company more search engine visibility. I found to speed up the SBOC approval process, go to your Group section on LinkedIn and click on the link listed there an send an email to that link. I got approved within 5 minutes.

I actually found this site via LinkedIn and I have to say that I prefer it. Thanks for providing such a valuable resource.

Yes, we have been on it for a few days now and it has brought in some really good business for us. I signed up for your badge, thanks.

has anyone figured out how to invite someone else to join the SBOC LinkedIn group? I wanted to invite some of my other LinkedIn contacts, but did not see any obvious way to do that (or to invite non LinkedIn contacts) without having to just e-mail them.

Is there any reason why not to join? Big or small this will to help exspose you and your business to others and besides It's free. You can start by adding me to your network for starters. If your on Linkedin you can add me there too.

That goes for anyone, too.

I'm happy to report that Linked In is really, really working for me!!! I have been in touch with 2 great connections that I never knew before and was introduced to through people I did know and now they are more than willing to help me with my jewelry business and help me accomplish what I set out to do with my particular goals. Before I left this morning, I had another person come forward to inquire about an opportunity and we are communicating.

You have to invest in Linked In and spend the time to ask for an Introduction and to network in your particular field. Sometimes, doing a search at the top, will help pull up people that are in your career or field. People by nature are willing to help others. The thing about success is we really don't all want the same thing. There is enough abundance in the universe to go around for everyone. I know so many people that joined Linked In, but then they just leave it alone. It's a shame because that's really not using the tool for maximum benefits. I hope more people will join Linked In.

Lots of people are looking to connect and get introduced to others in their field. Linked In can be a great tool!
