I'ml looking for you if you have a small business running, but can't seem to get ahead. You probably need focus and accountability, if you're like other 'stalled' home businesses we know about.
We have developed a process to provide very low cost coaching for $200 per month.
1. We spend an hour discovering the most important measureable criteria for your business development (eg outbound sales calls made, marketing events attended, suppliers interviewed, whatever....)
2. Then we set you up with automated reminders to focus on these items and report them to your coach weekly.
3. You and your coach then speak for 30-45 minutes every month to go over how you're doing against goals, whether goals need to be revised, whether they are turning into cash, and anything else on your mind.

Feel free to contact me if you'd like to try this out. No minimum commitments required. Quit anytime. It is working for other clients and we want to offer it to the SBOC.

SCORE provides excellent service. If you do not have access to SCORE consultants in your area don't forget to look for the Small Business Administration and its local Development Centers. (SBDC). http://www.sba.gov/aboutsba/sbaprograms/sbdc/sbdclocator/index.html

In addition to professional organizations out there - that are pay for services or for free like SCORE, I think it's always important to have a mentor in your life!

I completely agree. I don't mean to downplay the importance of a mentor at all. I have certainly benefitted from one in the past.

I also don't want to diminish the usefulness of a paid coach either. I just want people to know that if they cannot afford a paid coach that there are valuable and useful free alternatives.

I have said that in Business you have to spend money to make money.
Business people should have an Accountant, A Lawyer, an Insurance Agent
and now I will add "it's always important to have a mentor in your life"
Thanks, LUCKIEST

It's important to note the difference between a "mentor" and a "coach" though.
