I am a young entrepreneur with plans to start my own business. I have a business and marketing plan ready to go. I am looking for start-up funding to jump start my venture. I am interested in gaining interest of venture capitalist to help finance my business start up. How would I make that option available to me.

First of all be prepared...the VC world is akin to shark infested waters. You will need an Executive Summary as well. Do not pass out any Business Plan first and only then with an NDA. People will steal your idea(s). Be sure in the Business Plan to give them WHAT not HOW.

VC's specialize..some are technology only, some alternative energy, some pharmaceuticals etc. Give us a bit more info..and lets see what we come up with.

If you are working in alternative fuels then Kleiner-Perkins is who you want to approach, but be preapred...these guys are tough.
