I was looking at the site and wanted to forward a discussion to someone. I can't seem to find a way to do that. Am i missing something?

From the page of the thread you want to send, you can click the "Email" button up to the right next to "Search this site" and enter your friend's info in the pop-up window that appears, or you can copy the URL link for that thread from your browser and paste that into an e-mail you send to the person yourself.

Did copying and pasting the URL for the thread you were interested in not work? Are you trying to guide focus onto a specific post inside a thread or what exactly?

My apologies. I did not realize the e-mail button next to the search this site box was for forwarding. Yes, I could have copied it into an e-mail from my own e-mail account, just did not think of it

thank you. Looks like a cool site

On my first visit, I thought the "Email" button would be a way to directly email the person who posted the question (if they enabled that function), and I was looking for something like "Send to a Colleague" to do what the "Email" button actually does -- so I can certainly understand why it didn't jump out at you.

By the way, welcome to the community!
