Does anyone have experience with a salon software that they can recommend? All of the ones I have seen are extremely expensive. Is there a way to use QuickBooks or ACT! to incorporate appointments, merchandise and employee sales? My employees are working on commission and I need to keep track of how many transactions they have.

Thanks.

Welcome to this web site. I am a Quickbooks Consultant in New York with clients
across the country. Quickbooks is great for invoicing, keeping track of cash,
financial statements and commissions.
I would be happy to talk to you (FREE). On the Members page add a few words about
you and your business and maybe a phone number.

Yes! I use sbFirstDay. It is perfect for solo operators and just costs $20 (they are having a sale). It's awesome. http://www.sbFirstDay.com
