Need Help Funding a Small Daycare Business...

Need some advice on where to start as far as funding...I am concerned that my credit is not good enough to get the amount I need. WHAT SHOULD I DO? I ran a small in home child care for a year and now I branch out to a building setting but I don't have the funds to start. Any advice would help.

Dear all:

SCORE is not what they said they are. I have attended their meeting and they are very discouraging. Most of us are looking for fundings and without good credit it is unfortunate. I was told by SCORE to kill my goal/dream without a good credit. I was told no one will ever fund my daycare until I clean up my credit which will take forever and again I don't even have the funds to do that. They are just talk. They want you to pay for those marketing or financial seminars and no result at the end.

i would appreciated if anyone can post any news on how to get funded with bad credits and no collateral if possible. Thank you.

WOODY325, SCORE says that they are a non-profit organization dedicated to providing confidential small business advice to entrepreneurs from retired business owners, executives, and corporate leaders.

What did SCORE turn out to be in your experience? In what city and which chapter did you meet with a SCORE counselor? Please share the specifics of your experience with the community. Thanks.
