I hate excercising but when I was working at the Arclight movie theater I could keep in shape with all the running around I had to do.
When i stopped working there and decided to open up Nickels and Dimes exercise became non existant. In the beginning I didn't notice it so much but now I do. So I make it my mission to get up and walk somewhere twice a day everyday. I walk to the post office instead of taking the bus. I walk to the bank. I walk around the block. I walk to the grocery store, around the grocery store.
Now if only I could get a grip on my chocolate addiction.

We went from a home based business to a storefront location last year. I think I was more active at home because I wasn't tied to the office like I am now. If things were slow we could always go out and do something but now we have to stay at the office all the time.
But at least there is no fridge to raid. Although there is a sandwich shop next door!! And the smells are really good....mmmm......really good....be back latter!

Thanks to everyone for their continued responses.
I have taken a lot of your suggestions and have now setup an excercising schedule.

Thank you.
I am finding in my community that gym memberships are on the rise and the costs are ridiculous.

I was checking out some pictures of myself from a couple
years ago....before I started working from home. I was much thinner. I also feel it in my joints and feet.

Well, this New Year I am getting out more! I started jogging every night and eating
better. I already feel better after just
starting my exercise.

There have also been studies about people that eat right and
exercise and how successful they are.

Rob,

Your post hits right at home and I am glad I am not the only one.
I look at pictures of me thinner and I cringe lol.
I am doing the same thing basically.
I now jog every morning when I wake up, then come home and shower to go to work.
I am eating ONLY three meals a day and preventing myself from snacking on anything unhealthy.
Also drinking lots of water. I am starting to feel better, and I am getting back into shape.

Good luck!

That is awesome. I think
it will help all around in the long run.
Having the discipline to keep yourself in shape and feeling well will
surely transpire into keeping your business in shape and running well!

Good Luck!

How do you prevent yourself from eating anything unhealthy? I have a major chocolate addiction not to mention I have a pack of cookies in reach at all times. Guilty I am. But i was just wondering.

I try and replace the chocolate or potato chip with an apple or orange.

Also, I excercise in front of my computer, repeatedly to16" curls with my coffee cup, lifting cup off of desk and drinking from cup.

Gets exhausting after the 4th or 5th cup of coffee.

My biceps put Arnold Schwar. to shame.
