Many self-proclaimed marketing guru's are born every day, yet so many fail.

If you have a great marketing plan, that has worked, share with us what you can.

How do you reach your customer?

How did you fullfill there need?

Was there need something already known, or are you reaching a "niche market"?

Any advice for start-up companies?

The best way to reach your customer is to start with SCORE. SCORE is a partner with Bank of America
and provides FREE business assistance. You can reach SCORE in person or online.
SCORE has 26 FREE Online courses at " www.score.org " including Marketing, Business and Cash Flow.

We analyze our target market and look for potential clients that are likely to have a problem within the next two years that we feel we can address better than our competitors. We then contact those potential clients directly to start building a relationship. When/if the problem we anticipated occurs, we already have a big head-start on solving it -- and we often get the assignment.

As far as my basic advice for start-up companies: (1) plan, (2) seek and accept input and feedback from others, even if it's negative (the owners of most new businesses are not very good at self-assessment), and (3) be miserly -- don't spend money on anything initially that's not guaranteed to make you more money as a result (for example, don't order 1,000 units to get quantity pricing if you only have buyers for 600; don't spend $12K on a website unless you know it will generate $20K in sales as a result).

Lucky - Within a month you can do the same search, as well an you will most definitely find the page you are looking for.

It is impossible to have a web page or keyword work instantly with Search Engine Optimization techniques.

The "Bot" that peruses the internet taking in content, needs time to "surf" and then update content to search engine databases.

The databases then need time to that the relevant keywords are listed high within the search engines.

Professional SEO is not done overnight, and I would be leary of anyone that wants to take your money and states that it is.
