I have recently started a Virtual Office Assistance business from my home.
As a mother of 7, including 3 year old twins, and a full time student (18 credits from my BSBM) I opted to enter the fastest growing home based service with One Click Virtual Aide.
I am in the early stages of the business and would love some suggestions on where to land more clients. Currently, I am networking with friends and family members, previous business colleagues and contacts but I am very eager to other contact options.

Thank you, in advance, for your help!

I am so sorry...in my excitement of finding this forum, I COMPLETELY forgot to put information regarding my business services?!
Here is an exerpt from my company profile (currently under construction).

One Click Virtual Aide is my personal approach to providing a wide variety of services to companies across the globe. Services available include: Communication, travel arrangements, project management, document control, data entry, meeting coordination, etc. For local businesses, One Click provides on-site services, as required. I have a full home office, including the availability of WebEx PCNow and Microsoft Meeting. The greatest advantage of using One Click Virtual Aide is the lack of office expense. There is no phone, internet, hard/software, technical support, electricity, equipment expense or office space required. Eventually, I hope to increase the amount of Virtual Aides available, from EAs to Accounting Directors that have decided that they would very much like to continue sharing their vast knowledge from the comfort of their own home.

Hope this helps!

Yes, I saw that in your profile.

I guess I am after the bottom line: who will come to you, when, why, HOW, why you, etc.

Hello. Can you tell me what One Click Virtual Aide is? Do they charge a fee? I have a small home-based business called AAA Gal Friday and some of what I do is secretarial work. I am looking for more clients and if this is legitimate and gets me clients, I might be interested in learning more about them.

Thanks for any help you may be able to give me. Good luck with your new endeavor.

Lois

My apologies for misunderstanding your inquiry.

Who will come to me?
Innovative businesses that seek the best office management available. Those that appreciate "out of the box" thinkers and provide challenging projects along with basic "assistant" tasks.
When?
My expected hours of operation are 8-6 (AZ) M-F. I am a bit of a workaholic and do not rest well with incomplete tasks/projects in my "inbox" so hours and days are flexible in order to accommodate my clients needs.
How?
My website is currently under construction so for now, I am available by phone and email. I am a member of LinkedIn as well as this site where I hope to attract more clients.
Why me?
I am the best of the best with a wide variety of industry experience. I am goal driven and quality focused.

I have a full home office with the flexibility to adapt my computer programs/software to the needs of my clients as my husband is a Director of IT. I am fairly competent in the IT world and provide immaculate computer skills in a variety of programs. I am self-motivated and fully devoted to making a success of One Click Virtual Aide, not only for my own success but also to offer clientele to others that hope to become One Click team members.

Did that help?

Wonderful to meet you!

As my business is in the very early stages, I am not at a point of including additional team members but when I do, I do not foresee a fee being associated.
Do you have any additional contacts that you might send my way to get me going?
I am hoping to find different avenues for clientele contact...
Thanks a million...feel free to contact me directly (lydia.detwiler@gmail.com) or (lhmesa@gmail.com)
Look forward to hearing from you!

Hmmm I think I am getting it...but I don't have it yet. I need to understand the tasks that you perform.

We are virtual as well. I manage the group on BaseCamp.

I am available to provide all office assistance:
Calendars, travel arrangements, document control, meeting/event planning, in/out correspondence, tracking (budget, financial, time, etc), faxing in/out calls, customer service, business relationships, contract/agreement negotiations, messaging, etc.

Basically, think of anything that might be needed in the office atmosphere and I have experience with.
To begin with, I expect to tackle whatever office assistance is available but as I complete my schooling and increase my training, I intend to focus my services on Process Improvement (consulting), Purchasing and/or Planning project managment.

Contract/agreement negotiations? These should be handled by an attorney, why would you be better?

I see...

I think I'm getting it.

And if I am getting it right, I'd focus on 2 things:

1) for professionals - to deal with ROUTINE REPETITIVE tasks so they can focus on the CREATIVE side of their business;

2) contractors - guys who are good with their hands are usually lousy office managers, they may need somebody to take care of the flow of things while they are on the road - to hold down the fort.

Anyone who had to deal with a minor problem with the phone company, a utility bill, etc. knows how time consuming it can be.

In my experience, I have provided initial contract negotiations with service agreements. These agreements/contracts have been replacement agreements to expired contracts with companies that will not be renewed and/or in addition to existing agreements, therefore they are very similar in wording. For example, agreements and contracts with software providers, hotels providing corporate rates and direct billing options, corporate car rental/airline agreements, purchasing agreements, and physician employment/support agreements.
Attorneys are brought in to develop a range for negotiations and to draft and approve the final agreement/contract.

I do not claim to be an Attorney but if there is negotiating that needs to be done, I am experienced and more than willing to do the negotiating within an standard range as set by the company attorney.
