At any time that you are dealing with clients or portraying an image, I am wearing a business suit.
I am showing that I am all about the business I am in and am going to approach it in such, a professional manner.

I wear normal everyday clothing. I only stay in might clothes if I'm under the weather and not planning to go out that day. Otherwise, it's best to dress and be ready to come and go. Since my job is mostly writing and researching online, I don't meet with clients or customers. All of my communication is either through email, phone, or IM.

I'm strictly "suit and tie" at client sites, or a logo rugby shirt if I'm facilitating an off-site retreat. When I'm working from home, my chosen attire is mainly a function of whatever else I have planned for the day.

I can see this is a discussion I partly started.

This is my truthful answer. I'm tired of looking like I come from the streets. I lived on the streets and went to college on the streets. I earned a lot of respect from the men and woman in business suits when I dressed nice and packed my books around.

Currently I wear my regular clothes and only dress nice on special ocassions. I want to dress nice every day, even if I am just sitting at home working from home. I don't live like that anymore. I have a small house now on my grandparents farm. I want to dress like my surroundings.

I didn't mean to sound like a hypocrit either; all of the gift cash I recieved from christmas is going to a new wardrobe. It's money that is considered spent, I am simply waiting for the day we go shopping as a family.
