shelly,
Another suggestion might be Microsoft Office Accounting 2007.
I love the layout of their software and it is easily manageable.
It will even print out designated reports on a weekly, daily, monthly basis for you to wake up and take a look at.
I usually have it print off our A/R Aging and GL Account Listing daily.

Be careful though.
A lot of times that is a dangerous move to make.
Rushing into things without a plan can cause businesses to fail.
Read my story on the Stories page, it speaks of just this.

You might want to look at an ecommerce package that can do all of the things you are asking about. We use and have used several different ones. Good ones can handle retail and wholesale purchases and inventory and PO's. You can get into them for under $50 a month, especially if you have only one product.

Then from an accounting perspective the sales/inv can be synched with whatever accounting package you decide to go with. We use QB (albeit we started with the retail edition and kept upgrading all the way to the enterprise edition) and it will do everything you will probably need.

If you want a specific recommendation for an integrated multi-feature office solution that's priced and scaled for small business, you might take a look at Intellisoft's ManageMore.

What you want is Quickbooks Point of Sale as well as QB Pro with payroll if you have not outsourced that. I believe that the two applications can be configured to work together.

How many products are you importing & reselling? Will you be doing full warehouse management? If so QB enterprise could be one solution but there is also open source solutions much more robust such as Compiere, TinyERP and other systems out there. Not as easy as QB but more robust if your business demands it.
