I think you will find it very hard to avoid using your personal credit in the next couple years of business. After the first 2 years you will graduate from the "startup" category it becomes easier to avoid using personal credit with strong business financials.

What type of finacing are you seeking that you need to establish business credit?
Good afternoon, hope all is well. I have a coupl of questions. Are you looking to build business credit in order to obtain financing? Can you just let the credit naturally happen? Is your personal credit the reason why business credit is being denied?

Try going to www.CreditCards-N-Motion.com I applied for a business credit card there and got approved quickly. They have a good choice of business credit cards that you can apply for that will meet your needs. I own a business and it was a good start for me to build business credit.

Hi,

Try going for a business credit card first (visa, mastercard). I find them to be easier to obtain than the store credits.

I am not an expert, but I do have some experience in this as I have had my own business for 4 years. Forst, if you are a sole proprietor business, it is your personal credit that will be looked at. Second, if you are an LLC or inc. company, and a newbie, again, it will be your personal credit for quite a while that will be the main consideration. Creditors look to see if you have any accounts in the business name that you have that are creditors. If you have companies that you deal with that offer you any terms, such as net 30 accounts, it helps if they report these to the business credit agencies. You can refister your ccopmpany with dunns and bradstreet and also Experian has a business credit monitoring sesrvice. IOf you check into these you caan also keep track of your businesses credit score.
I hope this helps, as only you knoow what your personal credit score is.
