Hi Luckiest,

the basic maximum for Married Couples is $1,200, but this maximum only applies if you don't follow under any of these

You are married and your net income tax liability is less than $1,200 or
You are married filing a joint return and your AGI is more than $150,000
You owe back taxes
You have non-tax federal debts such as unpaid student loans or child-support obligations

Around the same time you receive your payment, you should or still will receive a
notice from the IRS explaining how your payment was figured. In addition, you’ll get a separate notice if you owe back
taxes or non-tax debts.

Oh, yeah...What will I do with my money? Most will go in the bank. I will take $100 and blow it on me. The new Madonna CD, some flowers for the yard, I also have my eye on a new jazzy pair of Ed Hardy gym shoes.

Not everyone is going to get a check; it all depends on your salary.

I am very confused. Expected $600 for myself and $600 for my wife.
