I will proffer to you, three "simple" yet what to me have proven important factors that have supported my success in business endeavors. The other two factors I will leave for you to glean from other contributors to this forum and/or more importantly, from your own thinking.

1). Plan your work and work your plan...each day.
2). If you can't measure it clearly and strategically, than you can't manage it.
3). Play to game to win as opposed to playing the game not to lose.

Another thing we disagree on.

I also saw no reason for either comment to be removed. Everyday, individuals make comments on this site that are based or grounded in a religious or philosophical belief. Trying to remove that is impossible. My respect for your views are part of my belief system. We are carrying being politically correct too far. How sad a statement the deletions make about us.
Interestingly - no one has asked you what you mean by "success" as I am guessing that most people share a common definition, but you never know. Here are my thoughts for the forum: passion, energy, commitment, teamwork, vision.

I have always opposed religious references on this board...for the record.

We disagree on what failure is.

Believe it or not, we probably agree about religion. This is just not the place for religious references.

No one said that you don't learn from the attempts. At least I didn't.

I do learn from my mistakes or failures. I just happen to think failing is not a bad thing - letting it beat you is. In failure, character is revealed, resolve is set and strength is developed. The "everyone's a winner" mentality has made us soft, when things don't go as planned we cry and blame others. Well, in some contests someone has to win and someone has to lose. Winning and losing is the same as succeeding and failing to me.

"A christian is a sinner who falls down but gets back up." A recent gospel song.

Even if something goes wrong, are there not lessons learned? Why are you people so darn focused on FAILURE? If something does not work out the way you want it to why is it a failure?

Do you like it? Do you want it? Why would you even have that word in your vocabulary? People who FOCUS on failure are losers. Period. Dot. The end.

Do or do not do.
There is no try. yoda
