Tony is correct these things very widely state to state. In Illinois there are actually some laws which allow some printing to be sold without sales tax. Either check with your accountant or please post some more information so we can help you out.

In what state is your business located? As already noted, sales and use tax laws vary from state to state. In Texas, for instance, some of the tasks you listed would fall under "taxable services," some under "taxable labor," and some under "non-taxable services."

In general, the answer is NO, but it varies by state. Check with your state.

Thanks,
Are you required to add sales tax for services.
It would help to know what state your business is in.
Do you have an Accountant??
Google Sales Tax and your state

California currently imposes
a retail sales tax on all tangible items.
Services are generally not subject to the sales tax.

Texas business that provides a taxable service for a fee is required
to obtain a sales tax
permit and collect the state and local sales tax.
If I provide services such as general office, printing or marketing do I need to charge my clients sales tax? My printer prints the business cards then charges me sales tax. I in turn bill the customer for that but do I have bill them a seperate tax for my service of locating the printer and getting the job completed?
