Great posting! It's true...nothing is free in this world. I would be very cautious if something sounded too good to be true....there's always a catch, always some strings attached - - -especially when it comes to money.

I recently read a Businessweek article (click here) for entrepreneurs searching for a government grant or no-interest loan to start a business. It may be useful to some here at the forum.

The message is clear: there is no free money. I've been saying that for years, but people don't always believe me. Now I have some proof...

There's a myth out there that free government money is available for certain types of businesses or entrepreneurs, like women or minorities. "Like most myths it contains a kernel of truth-the U.S. government does give grants to assist small businesses. Of course, virtually all of that money flows to local governments, state agencies, and nonprofits-not individuals."
