If there is enough money involved, you may be able to lease new fixtures. Displays, signs, fixtures, etc. are items that can be lease financed. The smallest lease I will do is $25,000. If it's more than that then I would like to talk to you about your needs. You can contact me at DougA@equitycorpfinance.com or call me at 888-498-8999 ext. 109.

Check out Cragslist. I have found display items that I have used on there for sale. Recycle.

Thanks for the feedback. I am based in Boston and would be open to online as well as wholesale. I am looking for mostly tabletop fixtures to start, I think I can get the most impact that way while I work on the cases etc..

I will check out your suggestions.
THINK GREEN Do you have a BUDGET??
Lighthouse 24 has good answers.
Think about other businesses in town who are going "out of business"

Your profile doesn't list where you are located, so I can't really suggest possible vendors nearby. If you're looking for new, ABC Target and SL Store Fixtures are two possible options:
http://www.abctarget.com/ http://www.slstoredisplays.com/

If you're looking for used, JG Resources and Gershel Brothers are two possible options:
http://www.jgresource.com/ http://www.gershelbros.com/

There is probably a retail fixture liquidator in a major city near you (they buy up and then auction or resell fixtures from closed or remodeled stores). Condition of merchandise varies from "like new" to "not worth having" so you really have to go look at that stuff in person.

Hope that helps. Best wishes.
