I want to focus on both growing my business and on my writing career. I started my business around the same time my publishing company wrote to tell me that i didn't need an editor and that my book would be coming out sooner than expected. So i've had to market, advertise and promote both. I want to greatly improve my marketing strategies. I hope to publish at least two more books this year.I'm also looking forward to when the time comes to move my business from its current location and hire some employees, hopefully in 12 to 18 months.
I also have some bridges that I burned last year that I need to rebuild this year.

Where to start?

Being a start up company I have a lot of room for improvement so...

This year I intend to:

Find all of my lead positions and expand from doing just video production to doing photos too.
Create a Documentary feature and send it to Sundance for exposure. ( also finding more funding for this project )
Complete our own website during the first quarter of the year
Get affiliated with various companies
Advertise until I am blue in the face
Find investors or grants to buy needed equipment
Get a real office ( though it isn't 100% needed as of yet )
Finish one movie script to try to sell while prepping another one for my company to shoot next year.
Create an animated movie of our logo to put on products
Fix my credit ( this should have been at the top for certain )
Shoot a few commercials for not for profit orginizations to help them ( for free of course )
look into information about how I can start my own not for profit and maybe eventually a foundation
There are many more things that I will not bore you to death with.

And yes Luckiest, we have a marketing strategy in the works and I do plan to finish my business plan very soon!

I'd like to increase our retail sales by at least 30% with our current venues plus add three retail venues.

We are currently putting together an aggressive growth plan for our commercial sales unit that includes growth in all four divisions.

In terms of product development I want to develope and prep at least six new products a month.

Thanks for the info. I should have thought of google...duh!
I put the Business Plan line in there hoping to get a rise from Luckiest! I have one half done and finishing it is one thing I'd like to get done by the end of the month.
