If you want something you can use in your business, and won't have to worry about your emails getting through, then you NEED to look at this. We are the ONLY video email company whitelisted by Habeas.
The ISPs would accept it just like any other email with a small/medium embedded image in it. If your emails are rich enough and balanced in text/video images, it should be fine.

For example, while I am emailing people, I usually add 2-3 lines of text (like this message) for an "executive summary" and attach my 30-45 second video that contains the details, etc.

If I were to try and use this technology to send email in mass, would the email ISP's accept it?

Actually, the email has an image in it of the video (either the first frame, or a "filmstrip" image of the video and you click the image and it will then take you to a new browser window with the actual video message. It does not autoplay.

I would hate to get a bandwidth hogging flash or video email. I'd much rather have a link in an email that I can retain control of my environment, instead of getting something that auto plays right in the inbox.

Imagine: I am at the office, working quietly, checking my email, and suddenly an unwanted commercial starts blaring away. Leaves a nice impression, no? And if it's blocked by spam or corporate filters, then I see nothing (?? - asking). If so, how is that brand building?

Also, what about blackberries, treos, etc? does it even work for them?

Put the video on your website (and Flash demos are included in that bucket), and link people back to it - put the control back with to your client, not some pushy video that takes control of your screen and speakers.

Can you tell I am opposed to this?

If you send me an email at mandreano (at) helloworld.com, I will reply to you to show you what the video email will look like. Also, you can upload any existing media file to your "media vault" and publish it through an email or to your helloWorld blog or link your RSS feed from your helloWorld blog to other sites as well.

All of my hosting is done in Angels Camp CA. Do you work with the ISP providers to get this out...?

Our marketing scheme will start mid summer of 08 and we have a video for the website and brochures. Would we be able to do a small flash demo in the email as well?

Tell us more about your business. Technology / Internet / eCommerce, right??

Right. The technology and features of the HelloWorld Studio are unmatched! Manage your entire digital life in one place. Emails, IM, Photos, Music, Webcasting, Podcasting, Blogs, Contacts, Appointments...EVERYTHING!

The HelloWorld suite of tools are the only low-cost, high-impact one-stop shop communications portal avaiable today. Starting at only $9.95 per month.

*
helloWorld offers...

*

A robust email client offering text and streaming video features.

A fully interactive calendar that can be shared and synched with others.

Personalized profile pages for social networking.

You can even...

Webcast live to 1 or 100s of viewers in a Private, Public or Pay-Per-View show.

Simultaneously record your webcast for continual on-demand play.

Record, import and instantly transcode your videos into multiple movie formats including H264 for podcasting.

Upload, store and blog your photos and music files in a simple drag and drop format.

Video chat with up to 4 participants.

How long have you been in business??

I have been an affiliate for about 3 months now. I have a strong background in IT though (12+ years), a Masters degree in Technology Management, and an Information Security certification.

The VMDirect company has been around since 2002.

Do you have a Business and Marketing Plan??

My plan is simply to leverage the web for widespead communications and word of mouth locally to tell as many people as possible about HelloWorld. To me, the product sells itself, especially to people looking to leverage it for their own existing business. It's just a matter of introducing them to it.
