I also have a student/athlete attending UNLV. He is a baseball player. My husband and I are 30-year residents of the Las Vegas area. We are selling our Big Apple Bagel franchise bakery/cafe and have it in the Las Vegas Review Journal for $99,000. Coincidently, the sister location of this franchise (there are only two stores in our area) is owned by an guy from England and so I am somewhat familiar with the immigration challenge you are referring to. We are selling the store mostly because of an injury I sustained to my left hand last April leaving me with limited use of the hand. My husband has another job, so it's just not working out for us. The store owner from England was formerly a policeman, so who knows? The store does not have to remain a franchise and the lease is up for negotiation right now. I spoke with 2 lawyers who call themselves specialists in immigration matters and could use one of them. I havent been to an accountant as yet. No I have not made any business or marketing plans. I dont see it necessary at this stage until i know which business I will end up buying. Once I know which one, then will formulate plans etc. PS> did you get me email to your direct email address?

many thanks for your response. I will send a separate email to you soon giving you some additional information. The type of business I am looking for is one that can give good staff growth. i believe the more employment I can create the easier my chances will be. I plan to come over to Las Vegas early next year.
