HI All,

I know these posts are very old but i am looking to start a Debt Collection Franchise. I have been working as a debt collector for 2 years now and having seen the potential in the trade i am keen to start my own businee either through franchise or from frech with a partner. I speak fluent french so i would be looking at doing an international debt recovery with possibly other financial services. Looking to grow this buisnedd with high earnings.

Debt Collectors are saviors to businesses. Yes, they do go after people for money and sometimes it can be VERY stressful for the consumer.But they are needed and there is a market for them.

As a business, cash flow is king. When a customer doesn't pay, you can't make your payroll, accounts payable, or true up your liabilities. Ultimately its not the business who is at fault; its the consumer. As long as services are rendered the consumer must pay for the services or at least work out a plan to do so.

When this happens, there is no need for a collection company.

Its a tough job, but someone has to do it.

I'd like to know why everyone is all over this concept also. I hate debt collectors. I would not have their job for nothing, especially at this economic hard times. Why would anyone want to call and harass people? I don't get it. I am not in that situation now, but I was a few years ago, and it was horrible the way these people never leave you alone. It is a job that I would rather be unemployed than do it.
