I have never really read such a quality response as yours before. You have well thought out comments that I like. I am doing something online, right now, that generates cash. It is referred to as cash gifting. As you have stated, it really takes marketing to get attention to it. I am all about hard work. I appreciate you taking the time in posting this quality response to making money online.

To make money online you need to find a product that has tremendous value, that is cutting edge, that is viral and that people want.

You then need to be commited, consistent, and put forth effort.

You must be a master marketer, prospector, and closer.

Those are the tasks you need to learn

Making money online is a very real and valid business opportunity. However, it is not something you are going to jump into and then instantly get rich overnight.

There are several things you must know and be prepared for in order to make money with an online business.

First, you must have the right mindset.

You must have confidence in yourself and in what you are doing to be successful in anything in life. Starting an online business is no different. You must start out with a positive attitude and know that you will be successful.

Consider this: I'm sure you know people like I do who are always negative and who expect the worst. In my experience these people are always disappointed and if anything can go wrong it usually does.

Now consider that the one thing all of the people who have successful multi-million online businesses have in common: They all started out with confidence knowing they would be successful! They didn't just try it and hope they might make some money. They committed 100% to their online business and achieved success!

If you are looking just to try it out you will be sure to fail!

Second, you must have focus and a direction for your business.

There are many thousands of business opportunities available online and you can easily become overwhelmed with all the information out there. Everybody is pitching you their business and telling you why their strategy for making money online is better than all the others.

If you go online and start reading every business pitch out there and watching every video telling you what you need to do to start making money online you will:

1. Have information overload.
2. Take away all the time that you should be focusing on your business.

Yes, you will need to get some direction to be able to market your business and get customers to your site, but the main thing you need to do is decide what valuable product or service you are going to offer your customers and focus on that first.

Note: One way to start an online business is to join an existing program that offers a product or service that you can market and make a portion of the sales. The product or service should be something you are interested in and I advise that if you decide to do this that you do a lot of research before you join a business. Do searches on the internet about the company you are interested in, look through different forums that provide information for online business owners and ask questions of those that are knowledgeable and helpful. Any company you join should have all the tools you need to start and market your business which include your own hosted website with pre-made sales pages and follow up information, marketing tools such as examples of classified ads and e-mails and helpful information of places and ways to market your website.

Third, you must be able to grab your customer's attention.

Your information must compel the customer to continue reading, provide value and the benefits your customer wants and hold their attention until they get to the place where they click and say "Yes, I want this!"

(This is one thing that the existing programs that I mentioned before can help you with if you are just getting started and you are not comfortable with writing copy for your website.)

If your product or service provides what your customer wants and your sales page shows them that you have what they want you will make money.

Finally, you must take action to market your business!

You can have the best website in the world or the greatest product or service in the world but if you don't take action and build your business you will not make money. You have to be committed to marketing your business in order to have the customers visit your site.

There are many different marketing methods available both online and offline but you should not try and do all of them at once. There are several things you can do when you are first starting out to market your business that are very simple, don't take much time and that you can do on a small budget. Much of it you can do for Free!

As you progress in your online business and start making money you can increase your marketing budget and learn more ways to market your business that will increase your profits even more.

The main thing is you Must Do Something! Your business will not build itself.

If you are serious about starting an online business I encourage you to Go For It! You will succeed if you are confident and committed, focus on your goals and on providing a valuable product or service and take the actions necessary to grow your business. The money will follow and you will have the financial freedom that you have always dreamed of.
