Are you spending more than $100 a month on advertising?
Is it getting you the results you want?
Have you heard about LocalAdLink?

They provide localized Internet advertising at a fraction of the cost of other forms of advertising including print, TV, radio and even other Internet advertising providers like Google AdWords, Pay Per Click and Yahoo. It is the answer to Internet advertising for small business owners because it gives them the ability to target specific zip codes where their customers live and work.

When potential customers in your targeted zip codes search on almost any of the over 140 search engines, including major provides like Yahoo, MSN, AOL and Google, your LocalAdlink advertisement will rotate through these search engine results. Your advertisement will also be seen on dedicated advertising space managed by LocalAdLink Search directory and served up to customers in your immediate area. That is an amazingly powerful tool that provides measurable results.

No web site is required for this service, saving small business owners even more money. Internet traffic can be seen in easy to understand reports. To learn more about LocalAdLink go to http://www.infoonlocaladlink.com/ .

I got in this morning and was amazed at how easy it was to create and post an event! I am going to go back tomorrow and post the rest of November and December...I also noticed that their 'other' pricing is not that expensive either..as I get a bit bigger in the wallett, I will definately persue that as well

Create an 'Event' in your local area or online - you could post it on your web site, on blogs and on local city guides. That should get you free publicity. By the way, http://www.TheBestCityGuides.com is offering their event calendar FREE OF CHARGE - I would urge you to get that on your web site - before the offer expires.

Web calendars usually cost $500 or more

Some suggestions:

Try searching for craft directories and getting onto them.
Se if you can do link exchanges with ohter crafters (having people put your link on their site for you putting it on yours). Also make sure you Register you site with the various top search engines, they all have a tool for free submissions.
Make sure your content on your site is easily readable by the web bots that determine if your site is a good choice for a category.

Try contacting blogs from your location and tell them about your products, some of them will surely write about your company and help you spread the word.

I tried Google Ad Sense. And it cost me a fortune.

Now I use Free Web sites to post events and share comments instead. My favorite is www.TheBestCityGuides.com

I still use Google analytics - a free service to track traffic to our web sites

Hello, this is my first post here, I have sports technolgy consultant company (located in Monterrey, Mexico).

I agree that you need first to stablish regular traffic, the ammount of the traffic is proportional to the ammount you can charge for ads.

I've been selling ads since the beggining but sometiems I was just doing some exchanges with other companies due my traffic was so new and it took me a year to get good traffic (100K+ monthly), now I can set the price I want on my ads.

Some regular banners I sell them at $ 200 - $ 500 depending the size and location, but I must remind you this site is in Mexico, so price are a little bit lower than US sites advertisings, you can try one price and see how the advertisers react and then adjust it.

Hope this helps.
