I am in the process of opening an existing cafe with a lot of foot traffic. This cafe in in a strip center. Once I get opened, I would be happy to offer your candles. I came from a small town and the cafe there had candles as well. They did really well on sales. Let me know if this would be okay with you.

Hi..We also are looking for retailers to carry our line of handbags and totes. It takes a lot of cold calling or just stopping in at local businesses. Are your candles the pillar kind or are they in jars. I am also thinking of starting my own shop with American made products. I would love to hear more about your candles.

I know I want to, at some point in time, carry a few gift items at my restaurant if I can get it up and going. I think it would be a good idea to have a forum here with wholesale products and services offered by the members. It could be setup as categories, i.e., bath and body, gift baskets, chocolates, beauty, dinnerware, linens, etc. If a member is a producer and/or importer of certain items or has the ability to order and sale at wholesale prices, it would help the buyer and the seller. Just my thoughts.

I truly do not want to do business with Wal-Mart or CostCo at this point. Someday I'd love to know I was big enough to charge as little as they want for their items, but unfortunately, I don't think I'd ever be competitive because I refuse to sacrifice quality.

PS, I did a D&B a couple of years ago. We are so small, it wasn't really necessary.

Scentlady, I know for a fact that companies like Wal-Mart or Costco wont do business with its suppliers unless they have a D&B credit profile. Go to www.businessformationgroup.com for more information. Hope that helps.
