Snow Bird Comprehensive Property Management

I am interested in starting a small business. I live in Michigan and see a potential need to organize comprehensive property management services for "Snow Birds" - typically retired people that move to Florida or other warm states for the winter. How do you get setup to sell a companies products!

We are on the verge of opening our fine cigars business. We have found a distributor where we can get cigars cheaper than retail, however, still not at true wholesale prices. I have tried contacting the large cigar manufactures to carry their products, however, they will not even return an e-mail. How does a new business establish contact with large companies and get a chance to buy their products direct from them, with no middle man? How does the supply chain work? I would appreciate any help, we are getting very frustrated knowing that we are dealing with a middle man when we need to work direct with the manufacturer.
