Mike, I'm doing this now, but your price seems WAAAAY too expensive! I signed up about 6 months ago with a company out of los angeles. I signed up as a "Reseller" and i'm paying $0.007 cents a call (less than a penny a call). That means your 10,000 calls would have cost $70 not $190, are you charging per call? or per Minute? Either way, seems your price is a bit high. They are providing me the Database, and doing the scrubbing too. What is the difference between your service and theirs? The site is www.messagecommunications.com if you are going to be cheaper, I'll use your service but it doesn't seem like you are.
Re: Anyone interested in sharing Twitter techniques?

Yes,
Twitter is really all about sharing.
It is always best to be perceived as being Generous rather than being loathed as "being on the take"
some points most people overlook are
1) it's not about numbers, having unrelated and untargeted followers can be a problem. Block and report any spammers following you. spam followers are one of the main ways other spam profiles find and automated follow you.

2) auto dm's thanking someone for following you, then sharing a link to your website or offer is lame. if you cant respond back in person with something relavent to the person who followed you, just dont reply back at all.

3)repeating your tweets is a good idea, as long as they are interesting, empowering, educational or inspiring. it helps people who missed the message enjoy what you share.

4) use localtweeps, hubspot twitter grader, or twellow to find people local to you.

5) have your high traffic, high commerce and high converson SEO keywords in mind when you tweet but dont SELL the terms, just tweet interesting, educational, empowering or inspiring things using those words. other people can find you using keyword searches ( and you can find people already talking about what you're already an expert in by using the same keyword searches )

6) search.twitter.com for a term and select the RSS feed option to send the whole stream to your google reader. then you can review, follow and engage likeminded folks.

7) I made a mindmap where I share these principles and more to help demystify the social media mindset. feel free to check it out on my blog. I share it as my gift.
http://generositymarketing.com/mom-and-pop-mindset-clarifies-social-media-strategy/
I hope this helps
thanks and take care
I know its a small thing and probably automatic but I want to thank the SBOCTeam for the email up-date on previously read, commented, or posted issues, articles, stories, or forums. I don't know about everyone else or why they are on-line, or what they are looking for, but sooner or later something is going to hit us all right here on Small Business online; but I forget; forgive me but I'm human and I need to be reminded now and then, and SBOCTeam emails can often do just that. I know my artistic non-profit is not a hot item in small business agenda, but I have been able to identify with many other members and I have listened to our professionals, it all adds up to an advantage, and an advantage goes along way in today's market. I do not get to spend allot of time on-line but when I do, I want it to pay off! Just clicking out with a better attitude than you had when you came on line is good; but going away with a great idea you had forgotten, is even better. Thanks SBOCTeam, and thanks for looking for even better ways to serve the Community Members. artforart

Re: Website Designers are not SEO'ers

I agree for the most part.

I see websites everyday that are nothing more than
"billboards on a dirt road" nobody sees. Many of
the best looking, expensive sites have no SEO
or SEM system built in at all.

Combine that with no lead capture/follow up system
on most sites and you're looking at a near total
waste of the websites' potential.

Many peple are using pay per click because they really
don't understand how SEO works. That can be costly
but can also be looked at as a "loss leader" if necessary.
(It does work if managed properly.)

These problems were so common, I started a new division
dedicated to working with businesses to help them with
SEO. You can request a free web analysis from:

http://EasyLocalSEO.com

A very in depth report that tells what you need to be doing
now to get serach engine traffic.

Hope that helps some, but great advice on doing your
homework before hiring a webmaster
Re: Website Designers are not SEO'ers

Good post. Those buying web design typically don't know exactly what is needed to produce a quality site with quality traffic,

However, I don't want to clump all of the web site designers into this category because many are excellent at conducting SEO programs for their clients. However in my own business I do handle some accounts as well as sales training here in Atlanta. With that being said the post is correct. I spend a lot of time throughout the week calling on web designers and pitching my client's back-end SEO link building process: http://seolinkwheelers.com/

I don't like to think of web site designers as being bad at the SEO tasks. I like to think that these routine SEO tasks are extremely time consuming which cuts into the designers creative design time. So my client and I just take those routine types of duties off of their plate. What I and my client do leave to the web designer is all of the in-site SEO processes that must be completed. All of the designers that I work with do have a good feel on how a page or site must be structured for SEO purposes.

So I agree web site designers are not SEO'ers, but the good ones know that and farm those routine task off to other companies that specialize in those tasks.
