Re: Anyone interested in sharing Twitter techniques?

Hello kenatra721,

I'm glad to hear that you and your team are having success with Twitter!

I will not bore you with the basics, because as you mentioned...

You guys already have that part mastered.

Here's a thought...

Have you guys thought about creating a "Twitter Posting Calendar?"

This calendar should contain the core task that you religiously perform, day in and day out without fail.

For example, your Monday's SCHD could look like the following:

Task 1: Post a Classic Tweet: "This is what I'm doing"
Task 2: Ask a question based upon hot topics surrounding your niche market
Task 3: Follow People who follow you
Task 4: Un-follow People who are not following you
Task 5: Post a suggestion with an affiliate link to a product

You could create a Schedule like this for everyday of the week.

Do you see where I'm going with the "Twitter Posting Calendar?"

I hope that this helps

I also highly suggest that you at least go and read the reviews and the overview on Joel Comm's Twitter Power book at: http://budurl.com/twitterpower2

Check me out on Twitter: http://twitter.com/HomeBizCoach1

Hello - All - I too am looking seriously at buying 4 fedex ground routs. Did any of you actually buy a route? If yes - can you tell me how it is going? Can we speak directly to one another? I will provide my telephone # if you would be willing to speak with me. Thank you all for the info so far. G.B. Lamb

Re: Anyone use Twitter to promote their business?

Hello Howard,

First of all if you want to build up your Following on Twitter, you must first decide the purpose of your Twitter account.

This will allow you to post Tweets that are focused and based upon the purpose of your Twitter Time-line.

You do not want to be all over the place with your tweets, because as humans we are creatures of habit...
And we like consistency...

For example, lets say that your Twitter account's purpose is to provide tips and insights on iPods.
Now you have a focus...

And therefore, your followers will know in advance that your Tweets will be about iPods.

They will want to know more about the subject and if you post great Tweets, your Followers will want to know more and tell their friends about your Twitter Account.

Do you see the difference in deciding in advance what you want to become an expert in?

You'll be able to separate yourself from everyone else.

I could could go on, but I know that you get the my point...

Here is another angle to Twitter that you may not have thought about...

Yes Twitter is amazing and you can build a nice following, but you can also earn profits if you strategically plan out Tweets...

It's not as difficult as you may think, it's actually fun and I'm loving every minute of it!

The book that I highly recommend you getting your hands on is "Twitter Power: How to Dominate Your Market One Tweet at a Time" by Joel Comm.

I blasted through that book and have been applying the strategies and techniques and my twitter followers are growing every single day.

The book is soo inexpensive, but yet it will get you started the right way by helping you to avoid mistakes.

Twitter Power will give you a list of recommended resources, including the ones that will automatically post to your Twitter Timeline.

I really enjoyed Twitter Power and could go on and on, but I highly suggest that you at least go and read the reviews and the overview...

Check my out on Twitter: http://twitter.com/HomeBizCoach1

<![endif]-->
Hello amspcs,

Before building your list, you should research what people
are already buying in your niche market.

Why?

Because it doesn't make sense to put all that work into
engineering marketing materials based upon topics that no one is interested in.

One of the best ways to perform market research is to go
Amazon.com and search in the Movers and Shakers, and the Best Sellers
categories.

Once you know what your market is buying and actively
searching for, you could then customize the information that you want to share
with them based upon what they are interested in instead of forcing topics down
their throats.

If you speak their language, they will most likely listen to
your marketing message.

Remember, you must educate and provide useable information
before they will completely trust you.

As we all know, people hate being sold.

If you speak their language and create a systematic
marketing strategy to reach your niche, you'd have no problem building your
email list, because you'd be offering information that they're actively
seeking.

I hope that this perspective helps.
Snow Bird Comprehensive Property Management
Dear fellow entrepreneurs.

I am interested in starting a small business. I live in Michigan and see a potential need to organize comprehensive property management services for "Snow Birds" - typically retired people that move to Florida or other warm states for the winter. Michigan has more snow birds than any other state incidentally.

Would anyone have good suggestions on how to find and market to my target audience?
