This article really made a lot of sense to me, and I want to thank you for writing it! I recently took the jump myself and though I'm more cash- and time-poor than I was when I was hitting the 9-5, my life is a lot more fulfilling because I am in charge of my own destiny. That's something I just didn't get before. Seriously, I'm really pleased with my decision to 'go DubLi'! I hope that everyone else doing the same thing and breaking out of the cubicle is as stoked as I am!

Brilliant Article!! Me and my buddies run a small web development company and we've all decided to take market rate salaries for our professions and pay us in some of the profit at end of each quarter, but reading this really helps strengthen our wisdom for setting a foundation for our business.

Interesting point: While running a business, we have to choose. The resources which we have are limited and the funds which we use to pay a salary to ourselves are the same funds which we cannot invest in further development of our business.
