I have been blessed to have my father who is a lawyer be a source of constant legal guidance for me. My sister and her husband are corporate attorneys and my brother does health law. From the time I was a young boy our dinner table discussions focused on the law and key legal points. Looking at the world through a good lawyers eyes changes your vision. On the converse, a bad attorney can really hurt you because in an area in which you thought you were protected you were actually exposed.

I think this article makes a really good point for those who have mixed feelings about lawyers. Also, growing up at our country club lawyers and doctors used to play golf together. Nowadays thats getting rarer due to the animosity between the two due to the amount of lawsuits against doctors and the cost of their rising insurance. It certainly does not hurt to know a good attorney, to respect what a good attorney can do to protect your business and to rely upon advice from strong legal council.

Attorneys could be proved life-saver in all walk of life. This article have established well their importance for small business.

Like doctors attorney's fees are also very high ($150-$1000 per hour) Though people are very well aware and use medical insurance people are not very much aware of legal insurance.

Insurance facilitate low-income group people come together and contribute money which they can afford. With their combined purchasing power they can afford quality doctors and/or lawyers.

I most certainly am not in love with my lawyer, he's not my type. This article did give good information about having a business attorney at the ready.

I think it's a good idea to identify a trusted lawyer now vs. when you get in a panick situation and desperately need one.

I don't know about being in love with my lawyer but this article does make great points about why a business attorney is necessary.
