To SBOCTeam: For someone who has no idea how to do their own accounting or even where to begin, how easy are these softwares to use? In particular, I am thinking of the needs of new entrepreneurs, especially young entrepreneurs, could they use a readily understand these products?

Good article. As more and more business owners are using computers
for all their business needs (even the local dry cleaners uses and
prints receipts on his laptop). It follows that the business owners
would keep their books and records "in a box".
I am a Quickbooks consultant. Quickbooks is one of the best known personal
accounting program. It is geared for people with little experience in
accounting and makes it easy for accountant at year end.
